Grade A means that Midsona is one of the top 400 (1.9 per cent) companies globally in terms of climate change strategy and leadership. CDP's annual process is widely regarded as the benchmark for corporate environmental transparency as it measures actions and performance to mitigate climate-related risks and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Midsona also came in second place overall among all categories in the annual ranking. Lunds university, Dagens industri, and Aktuell Hållbarhet have ranked a total of 130 Swedish listed companies based on their sustainability work, with a focus on risk and governance. This year, the ranking has specifically considered CSRD/ESRS, EU's taxonomy, and biodiversity.
